MECHANICAL LEADER
JOB DESCRIPTION

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

Verify and validate all CONTRACTOR commissioning preparation documents, including vendor documentation, for his discipline to ensure conformity with OPERCOM, project technical specifications and safety rules
Check and validate ICAPS database set up, population and verifications by CONTRACTOR for his discipline.
Approve and verify CONTRACTOR commissioning spare parts, special tools, manpower resources, tools, consumables and vendor mobilization management during commissioning execution
Verify and approve package documentation for commissioning, SAT’s and performance test for his discipline
Participate in FAT’s and follow up clearance of subsequent FAT punch lists by CONTRACTOR
Ensure by CONTRACTOR adequate preservation management for equipment on site during consecutive construction and commissioning phases
Manage COMPANY mechanical team during construction and witnessing of CONTRACTOR commissioning activities, responsible for compliance of commissioning procedures by CONTRACTOR
Oversees for his discipline ICAPS database progress, follow up of punch list clearance management and validate all subsystems commissioning dossiers at RFC and RFSU stage
Ensure that commissioning “Mark-up” activities by CONTRACTOR are properly carried out
Manage for his discipline all commissioning reporting to CSL


OTHER ACTIVITIES :
Attend project meetings as required and liaise with other disciplines and vendor personnel for commissioning matters
Provide for his discipline technical advice for Field Operation start up queries
Evaluate performance of CONTRACTOR and COMPANY mechanical team employees and report to CSL
Ensure for his discipline that project HSE objectives are properly integrated in commissioning preparation and strictly abide by during execution of commissioning activities
Promote “a safety first” attitude, develop proactively a safety culture and maintain a high safety awareness and vigilance within his team during execution of commissioning activities


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Senior mechanical engineer or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
Minimum of 15 years experience in Oil & Gas Plant construction, upgrade, commissioning, start up and maintenance
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Team Leader or Supervisory Level with good interpersonal skills
Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
Familiar with commissioning methodology
Able to work with live plant (SIMOPS) and tight schedule (during shutdown) conditions

INSTRUMENTATION & SYSTEM LEADER
JOB DESCRIPTION

MAIN ACTIVITIES :

1) SAFETY AND OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Target: no Accident or material loss, no near miss which could have normally been avoided.

With regards to his discipline:
Assess safety behavior at work of his team members and provide improvement as deemed necessary:

Socialization of procedures, understanding of hazards, training, Safety tool box to enhance safety awareness…
Supervise all works to be performed by EPCC Commissioning team and : check work permits, participate to risk

assessment as required, ensure clear understanding of hazards and mitigating measures by team members before starting the job, monitor activities on site to ensure that work is performed as planned and that required precautions are implemented.
To manage Instrument & System team on site, witness and participate actively in commissioning planning
Has full authority to hold on any unsafe situation.
Able to provide clear status with regards to inhibits / straps at time of hand over to Field Operation.


2) COMMISSIONING PREPARATION
Provide technical supervision and control EPCC commissioning preparation documents in respect with Opercom and all applicable specifications: Task identification, procedures, Requirements for Tools, vendors, equipments,manpower, as required and advise CSL in view to meet company expectation.
Check and comment system limit drawings prepared by EPCC with regards to his discipline.
Comment and approve OTP’s, SAT’s related to his discipline.
Check and validate the ICAPS database population prepared by EPCC with regards to his discipline.
Has a clear understanding of all type of operational and organisation documents related to interfaces with other parties (contractor, field operation, drilling …), and ensure proper socialization to his team members.
Closely monitor ICSS integration scope of work and Shut down’s preparation activities
Evaluate Technical skills of his team members, and their ability to perform the work with the required safety.


3) COMMISSIONING EXECUTION

Quality Target: Ensure that the facilities are compliant with company specifications and project SOR, perform smooth hand over, no spurious shut down or safety related issues during start-up.

SCHEDULE TARGET: Within approved Commissioning schedule.
Manage his team witnessing of EPCC commissioning activities within the framework and priorities defined by Project targets in a view to Safety, Quality and Schedule. Control resources mobilization by EPCC such as manpower, vendors, equipment, tools according to execution planning
Full witnessing of ESD/FG Operational tests
Verify test reports and check update of the ICAPS database accordingly.
Ensure that commissioning Marked-up prepared by EPCC are done on relevant drawings and documents.
Follow up clearance of Punch List items after RFC, as per procedure; provide technical input to evaluate requirements from FO with regards to specification, SOR and operability.
Highlight technical problem encountered and provide Technical and cost efficient solutions to help PL clearance.


4) REPORTING AND PROGRESS FOLLOW UP
Evaluate performance of team employees.
Provide daily reporting and attend Commissioning meetings as per CSL requirements.
Check and validate EPCC Commissioning team updating of Icaps to ensure proper follow up of planning and progress.


OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Attend Projects meetings as and when required
Co-ordinate with other entities, groups and Metier and manage the requested reporting and presentations
Ensure accurate reporting of his activities within the Company organization


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Senior ICSS Engineer with Engineering & Commissioning hand-on experience and previous experience gained in Project Engineering or Commissioning jobs in Nigeria.
Previous experience in the supervision of Engineering or Commissioning activities within a project team
and/or experience in Operation Maintenance within support team in town or within maintenance site team or equivalent would be beneficial.

JOB DESCRIPTION



ACTIVITIES

1. Preparation, planning and optimisation, execution and follow up of completion operations
2. Ensure delivery of safe and efficient completion solutions
3. Assist completion engineer(s) and superintendent as necessary to promote efficiency of operation
4. Supervise offshore completion operations as required
5. Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with HSE requirements and Company rules
6. Liaise with Well Engineering section for studies, engineering input and details required for preparation of completion programme, plans and contingencies
7. Maintain logistics planners and operational time planners
8. Coordinate necessary meetings between services companies and rig contractor
9. Supervise offshore completion preparation and operations – issue work instructions, load out lists, run lists, space outs
10. Perform post operational debriefs and prepare report of lessons learned / continual improvement
11. Assist in preparation of end of well report (completion section)


OBSERVATIONS ON ACTIVITIES AND MISSIONS
Validate Completion Report operation in Well view prior to send onshore
Inspect Permanent and rental Tools & Manage the equipment stock on-board
Participate in the training of junior staff
Deepwater experience mandatory


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualification: Petroleum Industry Graduate to BSc level (or equivalent professional experience)

Professional Experience (number of years): 8-10 years field experience in well testing and completion design and operations

Knowledge of company requirements and methodology relating to well completion design and practice.
